PRIVILEGING COURSE FOR CIRCUMCISION (DORSAL SLIT) PART 1 – SERIES 2 (PCC1-2)
MADOCS once again successfully conducted the Privileging Course for Circumcision (Dorsal Slit) Part 1 – Series 2 (PCC1-2) on 26th January 2026 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The programme was designed to provide registered medical practitioners with the essential theoretical knowledge and clinical foundation required to perform circumcision using the Dorsal Slit technique safely and effectively.
Throughout the course, participants attended interactive lectures, case discussions, and practical simulation sessions covering patient assessment, surgical principles, infection control, procedural techniques, post-operative care, and the management of complications. Guided by experienced MADOCS trainers, the programme emphasised patient safety, ethical practice, and evidence-based clinical standards.
MADOCS extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, trainers, facilitators, and organising committee members for their valuable contributions to the success of PCC1-2. PRIVILEGING COURSE FOR CIRCUMCISION (DORSAL SLIT) PART 2 – SERIES 3 (PCC2-3)
MADOCS successfully conducted the third series of the Privileging Course for Circumcision (Dorsal Slit) Part 2, known as PCC2-3, on 30th May 2026 at Masjid Putra, Putrajaya.
This program serves as a continuation of PCC1-2, which was previously conducted in Kota Kinabalu, and represents the final practical phase required for participants to complete the privileging process. PCC2-3 focuses on the hands-on application of the Dorsal Slit circumcision method, ensuring that participants demonstrate clinical competence in a supervised setting.
During the program, participants were guided by experienced surgeons and facilitators through structured practical sessions, where each participant was assessed on their technique, adherence to safety protocols, and procedural efficiency. This hands-on assessment is a crucial requirement prior to being granted circumcision privileging.
PCC2-3 reflects MADOCS’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards in circumcision training while promoting safe and standardized practices nationwide.
